The exposition was opened June 6, 1990 on the second floor of the museum & located in five halls on the area of 350m2. It gives a clear notion about natural riches in Mogilev region. Visitors can see paleontology findings which can tell about important moments of evolution. Skillfully made dioramas show special features of relief, climate & soil in region.
A special place is given to a landscape of the region: its forests & reservoirs, bogs & meadows. The first hall is devoted to a process of universe formation & to the main stages of Earth geological history. It displays fossils, mammoth remains, mineral collections.
The second hall is devoted to the relief & landscape in Mogilev region. It is possible to see nature in different seasons.
The third hall shows reservoirs of region. It`s also possible to see inhabitants of lakes, rivers & bogs. One diorama shows such interesting animal as a beaver.
The forth hall shows stuffed animals & birds in movement what makes the illusion of reality.
The last hall is devoted to the forests of region & its inhabitants. Here are three large dioramas where badges, elk, wolf & wild boar are shown in different seasons. The exposition also displays a collection of stuffed birds.
