The exposition was opened March 19, 2004. It shows daily life of citizens in 19th-the beginning of 20th century. Visitors can see the life of different city`s social classes: philistines, merchants, nobles, officials, servicemen & clergy. Unique photos depict city`s face as well as small towns & boroughs. It`s possible to peer into merchant`s store, bookshop or photo studio; to visit philistines` house, noble sitting-room or official`s study.

The exposition shows the life of servicemen in its shining, their war heroic deeds. For the first time the religious life of province are shown.

An old time interiors, furniture, things were reconstructed specially for exposition.
